Research Publications

Promoting the benefits of cycling is vital in encouraging more people to actively participate in cycling and enjoy the multiple benefits of cycling. Promotion has to happen at a range of levels, the individual, the business sector, the community and the government.

For example, the Cycling Promotion Fund together with the Bicycle Federation of Australia, Sydney South West Area Health Service and other professionals have developed a series of cycling issue and fact sheets to raise awareness of cycling and its benefits and debunk some commonly held beliefs.

We encourage all cycling organisations, businesses and government departments and anyone interested in advancing cycling to utilise these cycling issue sheets and CPF publications, as they provide some valuable statistics and arguments.

Resources & Submissions

The Cycling Promotion Fund does media releases and makes submissions to all levels of government regarding health, environmental and health issues.
