Melbourne is in the middle of a cycling boom, as the AGE reports, with commuters taking to two wheels for their daily journey to work. High petrol prices have put cycling back on the agenda as a viable transport mode. Cycling counts by VicRoads indicate that at least 4,000 people are cycling in and out of the CBD each day.
