Evaluation Report: Families on Bikes

Families on Bikes is a program of bike rides organised for families with young children, whether in tow or on their own bikes, with or without training wheels. The program's motto is 'No one is too slow; we're always happy to stop for a rest, play, snack, breastfeed, nappy change or 'til a tantrum is over'.

The rides are short (around 5km one way) and often take the train to shorten distances, avoid hills and show an alternative to car travel.

The rides are auspiced by Darebin BUG and are based in Northcote, an inner-suburb of Melbourne.
