New Commonwealth funding opportunities for bicycle path construction: Commonwealth Jobs Fund program Local Jobs (LJ) Component (Bike Paths Development) - An introductory guide prepared by the Cycling Promotion Fund (21st April 2009)
The Australian Government, as part of its economic stimulus package, has developed a $650 million Jobs Fund. The Local Jobs component of the package includes $40 million dedicated for the construction of bicycle paths.
This document has been prepared by the Cycling Promotion Fund and is designed to assist prospective applicants for the bicycle path component of the Jobs Fund. It is not intended to act as a comprehensive guide and all prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to visit the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations for full details.
