SheSpoke: Free Coffee Morning for Melbourne's Women Cyclists – Saturday 20th September

This Saturday 20th September, SheSpoke is organising free coffee and cake for people looking to get some new gear for spring, at Cafe Racer at 15a Marine Parade from 8am and 10am and an opportunity to see their new cycle garments.  All women attending will also receive a free gift from Pure Heaven.

Brunetti Women's Coffee Club Ride – Saturday 18th  October

On Saturday 18 October 2008, the Cycling Promotion Fund together with the Amy Gillett Foundation, the Herald Sun Tour and Brunetti’s have organised a great event for women which includes a 20km bike ride, great coffee and lunch,  cycling tips and an opportunity to be inspired by the hustle and bustle in Carlton with the Herald Sun Tour taking over the streets.

Please register today as places are strictly limited:

This event is targeted at women of all abilities and participants will be put into groups of women of similar riding ability and ride angles will ride with the groups and provide encouragement and support on the way.

Lynn Gunning has put together some training tips to help you get ready for event if you have not cycled much lately.

So spread the word and encourage your friends and work colleagues to  this great social cycling event.

Postcards are being printed this week so let us know if you like some to distribute to your friends and colleague.

We are still looking for some Ride Angels, so if you are an experienced rider and have participated in cycling events before you may like to consider joining as Ride Angel. You will get free entry to the event and a briefing on your role and the route.  Please contact the Amy Gillett Foundation if you like to register as Ride Angel.

Happy Cycling!
