Launch of Cycling: Getting Australia Moving
Cycling:  Getting Australia Moving report and the presentation of the National Bicycling Achievement Awards was held on Wednesday 4th June 2008, at Old Parliament House, Canberra.
 
Key Note Speaker: Rob Moodie, Professor of Global Health, Nossal Institute for Global Health. 
 
Minister for the Environment, Heritage and the Arts, The Hon Peter Garrett AM, MP presented the Bicycling Achievement Awards

The Hon Peter Garrett AM, MP at the launch announced a grant of $45,000 for the development of a national cycling training scheme to encourage more people to choose two wheeled transport.
