NSW Bike Week 2007 - Something for Everyone

Hats off to the NSW Government and the NSW cycling community for their impressive array of events during NSW Bike Week 2007, running between Saturday 22nd and Sunday 30th September. NSW Bike Week is a state-wide government initiative that raises the profile of cycling as a healthy, easy, low cost and environmentally friendly alternative to driving for short trips. It allows people, especially beginners, to participate in organised bicycle events in a safe and supported environment, close to home.

Events include bicycle skills training, family rides, short rides, bicycle maintenance classes, quizzes, rides for beginners, a film night, sausage sizzles, and ride to work and school events. There really is something for everyone. And they're in a range of locations, from Campbelltown to Deniliquin, from Fairfield to Coolah, from Singelton to Winmalee... the list goes on.
