Cycling Resource Centre
The Cycling Resource Centre is a on-line resource for cycling information.
This world class site developed by Austroads and Department for
Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government
features a powerful search engine, topical pages ranging from
infrastructure and funding to ride to school programs, road safety and
cycling promotion.
Queensland Transport: Bike Safety
Queensland Transport's cycling public education campaigns aim to
improve road safety for cyclists. The "Keep your head in a helmet"
campaign sought to educate children about the benefits of wearing a
helmet while cycling.
Queensland Transport: Share the road public education campaign
Campaign
overview: Over the last few years Queensland Transport has run a
variety of public education campaigns that aim to raise awareness of
issues affecting safe cycling. The "Share the road" campaign aimed to
teach motorists and cyclists how to share the road safely. This
campaign is one action stemming from the State Government's commitment
to increase Queensland cycling rates from the current 2 per cent of all
trips to 8 per cent by 2011. This was the first major Queensland
Transport campaign to focus on improving

The Inattention Campaign 2005/06 media campaign include radio and television spots, with the slogan "Good drivers just drive".
Northern Territory: Vulnerable Road users campaign
In road safety terminology, pedestrians, cyclists and others who are
more at risk in a collision with a motor vehicle are known as vulnerable
road users. The term can also include young people, the elderly, people
with disabilities, Indigenous people, people from a non English speaking
background and international tourists.

Amy Gillett Foundation
The Amy Gillett Foundation's primary objective is to reduce the
incidence of injury and death caused by the interaction between
cyclists and motorists. In doing so, we hope to promote a safe and
harmonious relationship of shared respect between the two groups.
VicRoads: Sharing the Road
Sharing the Road
is an initiative aimed at increasing awareness and observance of key
behaviours that will lessen the chances of conflict on the road, and
reduce the incidence of common casualty crashes involving cyclists.
Sharing the Road has been developed by VicRoads and other members of
the Victorian Bicycle Advisory Council, including Victoria Police,
RACV, Bicycle Victoria, Cycling Promotion Fund and the Retail Cycle
Traders Association. It is a community-based campaign being delivered
in conjunction with Local Government, Roadsafe Community Road Safety
Councils, and other organisations concerned with safe use of our roads.
