Now I have bought a bike, what accessories do I need to make my bike journey more comfortable and safe?

You are required to wear an approved helmet at all times when riding by law. You can ride in your everyday clothing but for longer trips by bike you may want to consider investing into padded cycling shorts (knicks) which can considerably improve your comfort.

Gloves are another great investment, they not only protect you when falling they increase comfort on you palms and protect your hands from the sun. You may want to buy a bicycle computer to keep an eye on the distance and speed your riding.
