A Bike Bus is a group of people who cycle to work in a group. It’s
called a “bus” because there is a set route and timetable so it can
pick up more “passengers” along the way. Cycling is a quick, fun way to

and comfort. And it’s zero emission commuting, so you save 1.3 tonnes
of greenhouse emissions per annum, for a 10km commute. |

Vote4Cycling: In the second half of 2007, the
people of Australia will be asked to elect a new Commonwealth
Government.
Historically, there has been little federal support for
cycling, relative to state and local contributions. With the converging
issues of climate change, spiralling fuel costs, an obesity epidemic
and rising congestion, the 2007 federal election is an important
opportunity to get bicycles on the agenda. |
