The tragic hit and run crash in Mascot on Thursday (8/05/08) is a sad reflection on our increasingly aggressive roads. The daily commute behind the wheel has turned the hope of a dream run into a nightmare - with rising congestion and skyrocketing fuel prices driving tempers to breaking point. The last thing we want to see is the frustration taken out on people cycling - yet this seems to be exactly what happened in Mascot. |

The Bicycle Federation of Australia (BFA), Australia’s peak cycling group for recreational, commuter, everyday and touring cyclists, has launched a new service to help organisations set up bike fleets in their workplaces - bikes4work.

The Garnaut Climate Change Review is an independent study by Professor Ross Garnaut, commissioned by Australia's State and Territory Governments on 30 April 2007. The Prime Minister of Australia has confirmed the participation of the Commonwealth Government in the Review.
The Review will examine the impacts of climate change on the Australian economy, and recommend medium to long term policies and policy frameworks to improve the prospect for sustainable prosperity.
